Committee Responsibilites

COMMITTEE ADVISORS

Oversee the organizations and help to advice the best plan for the overall successes of WBWG

HOSPITALITY

The Hospitality Committee is responsible for the planning and execution of various events throughout the year, including the WBWG Signature events. As the Hospitality Committee, the purpose is to be the initial greeting team for all members and guests and to field any issues that may arise to ensure each attendee a smooth check-in so they can maximize WBWG events. There are several areas of responsibility within the committee: greeters to escort attendees to the registration table, credit card and money handlers, get attendees to sign up for WBWG newsletter,  post event thank you for attending follow up, as well as follow up leading up to events to encourage prospective attendees to purchase their ticket. Assemble swag bags, raffle gifts for events, assist with room set up and break down. Have a QR Code for check in at registration table. All Speakers will greet guest beginning of events

EDUCATION COORDINATOR

Coordinates the weekly educational information for members during the meetings or workshops, recommends coaching sessions to members

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Oversee WBWG monthly newsletter, submit articles for the benefit of members and growth of the organization., Submit member spotlight, submit sponsorship ads, Get the WBWG brand out to the community, build strategic partnerships with community so they will promote WBWG. Works to secure event sponsorships

TECHNICAL/ WEBMASTER

Maintain website, membership portal, payments options, KPI. Manage CRM

MEMBERSHIP/ RECRUITING

Set clear goals for growing membership base, create ways to host membership events, create a rewards loyalty point program

Sets expectations, evaluates the involvement of existing members, and identifies need for new members to WBWG be effective.

Evaluates new and renewing members expectations and participation.

Help secure membership applications, Evaluates the participation of existing members (including attendance to events, referrals

Processes renewal applications of current members.

Intervenes/mediates regarding complaints between/about members when necessary..

Make sure new members get the WBWG new member orientation package

EVENT LOGISTICS

Set up events, audio, visual, music, PowerPoint slides, mic checks, room set up, manage the flow and transitions of the event. Works with Tech support (Brian Banks) Any changing or request at events must be approved by Logistics Director Tara

Executive Team Expectations

Protect the integrity of the organization and it’s members
Host a monthly event at (least one a year)
Commit to help promote all WBWG events
Commit to purchase 3 guest tickets  WBWG Signature events
Attend monthly committee member meeting 1st Thursday of each month (ZOOM)
Must have an active membership for one year
Must be voted in by after interview with the board
Must have a positive attitude
Must attend semi annual planning retreat
